IOTA 9505 emulsified silicone oil—chemically identified as Dimethicone (and) Laureth-3 (and) Laureth-9—is a highly regarded, premium ingredient in personal care products. It is a non-ionic oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion featuring a high-viscosity polysiloxane internal phase. It appears as a milky white liquid with a solids content of 50%–57% and a pH ranging from slightly acidic to neutral (6.0–8.0).
