Chongqing University of Posts and telecommunications is one of several post and Telecommunications universities set up by the state and focused on construction. It is a distinctive, open and high-level teaching and Research University jointly built by the Ministry of industry and information technology and Chongqing.
The university has 16 colleges, 4 research institutes and more than 25000 students, including more than 3600 doctoral students and master's students.
