The raw material itself is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid; while it may become cloudy or solidify at low temperatures, it returns to a liquid state upon heating without compromising performance. It is safe for most people when used at standard, compliant levels; however, as it is a silicone-based ingredient, frequent long-term use warrants proper cleansing to prevent residue buildup.
