Under the wave of high performance of global industrial equipment, Russia's metallurgical, energy and aerospace fields have ushered in key technological breakthroughs. Recently, an international chemical company announced the launch of a new generation of high-temperature resistant silicone oil products, which are specially developed for special equipment under extreme working conditions. They can withstand an ultra-wide temperature range of -50℃ to 400℃, filling the application gap of traditional lubricating materials in ultra-high temperature environments.

Technical highlights: Dual revolution of high-temperature protection and long-term stability

The high-temperature resistant silicone oil adopts organic silicon modification technology. By introducing heat-resistant functional groups and nano-dispersion systems, it significantly reduces the high-temperature volatility (<0.5% @300℃), and the antioxidant performance is improved to more than 3 times that of ordinary silicone oil. Laboratory data shows that in continuous 400℃ high-temperature tests, its lubrication performance retention rate exceeds 90%, far exceeding the requirements of ASTM D2266 standards, and can effectively avoid problems such as equipment jamming and sealing failure caused by high temperature. At present, the product has been successfully applied to the high-temperature reactor transmission system of a steel group in Siberia, extending the equipment maintenance cycle from 30 days to 180 days, and reducing the comprehensive operation and maintenance cost by 45%.

Industry application: full coverage from energy equipment to precision instruments

In the Russian Arctic oil and gas field development project, the silicone oil is used for bearing lubrication of deep well drilling equipment, successfully resisting the extreme high temperature and acid gas corrosion underground; at the same time, its low friction coefficient characteristics (μ < 0.02) are also used for vacuum environment lubrication of precision instruments in spacecraft. Ivan Petrov, the company's technical director, said: "Our goal is not only to provide materials, but also to build a high-temperature industrial ecology-in the future, we will cooperate with Russia to develop customized high-temperature sealants, thermal conductive pastes and other derivatives."

Market prospects: A blue ocean worth hundreds of billions is urgently needed to be developed

According to industry reports, with the acceleration of Russia's development of Arctic energy, the market size of high-temperature resistant special lubricants will exceed 12 billion rubles in 2030. The company plans to set up a technical service center in Moscow to provide 24-hour working condition diagnosis and formula optimization services to further consolidate its leading position in the CIS market.
