In order to effectively enhance the ability of independent innovation and practical operation of our students, realize the effective connection between the training of applied talents and industrial needs, and strengthen the training and cultivation of the team spirit of students, the fifth "yuezhuanbei" software design competition for college students of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications will be held in late May 2020.
This competition is sponsored by the academic affairs office and organized by the school of computer science, the school of software and the school of Cyberspace Security. The winning excellent works will be recommended to participate in the 9th "China software Cup" College Students' software design competition. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

Competition title
The competition focuses on the ability of the participants to solve practical problems, unifies the proposition, and the prototype of the competition comes from the latest technical requirements of software enterprises. (1) Video full target analysis and modeling
(2) Research on the implementation and algorithm of fault root cause location system based on network topology and alarm
(3) Intelligent application of traffic scene based on computer vision
(4) Embedded container management based on kubernetes and domestic operating system
(5) Software protection based on signature technology under Linux
(6) Other competition questions (because the competition questions are being updated in succession, please make sure to join the QQ group in the school trials, and the group QR code is at the end)

Participants and requirements
1. Participants:
The students should be full-time undergraduates and postgraduates before 2020 summer vacation.
2. Entry form:
Each team can be composed of less than 3 members (including 3, including 1 team leader) and 1 instructor.
3. Application Description:
(1) The name of the team does not contain uncivilized words;
(2) Encourage interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary and cross grade teams (it is suggested that one student in each group should be responsible for writing the plan and PPT, etc.).
4. The competition item is software design (application system), and the specific requirements are as follows:
(1) Software works shall be developed in strict accordance with software engineering specifications, with good programming style, clear notes and complete documents.
(2) Software works shall not violate the relevant laws and regulations of the state, or infringe upon the copyright of others. If the work causes intellectual property rights objection and dispute, the responsibility shall be borne by the participant.
(3) The entries must be original works. If someone else is found to be posing as the author (i.e. the author is not original) to participate in the competition, the qualification and results of the competition will be cancelled once verified.

Competition schedule and arrangement
1. Registration and topic selection stage:
April 13-29, 2020. Each team leader shall fill in the competition application form in the attachment and send it to the email address of jianglingyun@njupt.edu.cn before 24:00 on April 29. Please indicate the subject of the email: "selected title - team name - team leader name - student number".

2. Submission time of school competition works:
May 31st
3. Submission of school competition works:
Entries (original code, executable files, related documents), presentation videos (unlimited format, time limit is less than 7 minutes). Submission email: jianglingyun@njupt.edu.cn, please pack and compress all the documents into a zip file with the name format of "competition Title team name team leader name student number"; the format of relevant documents is word document and PowerPoint.
4. Time of school level review and defense:
Early June 2020 (specific time and place will be notified separately).
5. Way of school level competition:
The expert evaluation team will evaluate the entries, and finally publicize the results.
6. Proportion of awards:
There are first prize, second prize and third prize in this competition, including 2 first prize (certificate of award and prize with value of about 600 yuan), 4 second prize (certificate of award and prize with value of about 200 yuan), and several third prize (certificate of award, proportion of which shall not exceed 25% of the number of applicants).

7. The evaluation expert committee shall guide the winners in order to improve the level of software works, and recommend to participate in the 9th "China software Cup" undergraduate software design competition on behalf of our university.
