On the afternoon of April 14, Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications and Changshun County, Guizhou Province held a video conference on targeted poverty alleviation. At the promotion meeting, Qiao Jianyong and Li Youjun signed the memorandum on deepening targeted poverty alleviation assistance and cooperation between Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications and Changshun County People's Government in 2020. In his speech, Gao Xiaoyun, Secretary of Changshun county Party committee, thanked the school for its help over the years, and made exchanges around the key work of Changshun county this year and the matters jointly promoted by the school and the local government, hoping to carry out more in-depth cooperation with the school in education poverty alleviation, information construction and new infrastructure construction.
In 2019, the school adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics, focusing on the decision making of the Central Committee and the Ministry of education to tackle the poverty problem. With the support of the county committee and the county government, the communication and coordination between the North post and Chang Shun China were strengthened, and the contents and ways of poverty alleviation were continuously innovating. The poverty alleviation pattern of "one main body and five coordination" promoted by God has completed all tasks in the letter of responsibility for targeted poverty alleviation. The school held "Beiyou Changshun science and Technology Culture Week", Changshun county "2019 teacher training project", leading cadres big data special training class, agricultural products exhibition and other activities to promote education, science and technology, consumption, cultural poverty alleviation. Several mainstream media platforms, such as the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council, the Ministry of education, people's network, China Education Television, reported on the work of poverty alleviation in schools. The affiliated cadres won the awards of advanced individuals and the first Secretary of excellent villages in Guizhou Province.
With the joint efforts of the school and the local government, Changshun County officially withdrew from the poverty-stricken county sequence.
In his speech, Wu Jianwei, on behalf of the Party committee of the University and all the teachers and students of the University, expressed warm congratulations on the official poverty relief and hat lifting of Changshun County, and paid a high tribute to the majority of Party members and cadres who devoted themselves to the poverty relief work of Changshun! He pointed out that over the years, the county Party committee and the county government of Changshun have vigorously promoted the spirit of "basket carriers cadres", closely followed the "one standard, two guarantees and Three Guarantees", and achieved the "eight always" in accordance with the requirements of "four practical, five batch and six accuracy". The incidence of poverty in Changshun County decreased from 36.06% in 2014 to 1.29%, and the work of poverty alleviation and decapitation won a decisive victory. This achievement embodies the strong leadership of the county Party committee and the county government, the painstaking efforts of poverty alleviation cadres, and the hard work of Changshun's parents and villagers.
He stressed that this year is a year of special historical significance in the process of the construction and development of the Republic. We will jointly usher in the historic convergence of the two centenary goals, and we will jointly witness the successful conclusion of the historic task of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. In combination with the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of education and the actual work of Beiyou and Changshun, Wu Jianwei put forward four requirements for further improving the targeted poverty alleviation work and continuously consolidating the poverty alleviation achievements:
First, we need to improve our political position and resolutely tackle poverty alleviation. The school should continue to study and carry out the important statement of general secretary Xi Jinping on poverty alleviation. Guided by the spirit of the important speech delivered by general secretary Xi Jinping at the Symposium on the decisive battle against poverty, we should conscientiously implement the spirit of the Ministry of education's poverty alleviation work and profoundly understand the special significance of winning the battle against poverty in 2020. We should strengthen the awareness of decisive battle, under the guidance of the four principles of "no responsibility, no policy, no help, no supervision", grasp all work, launch the final general attack to the successful completion of the historical task of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, grasp the annual sprint, and achieve the best results.
Second, we should further strengthen the awareness of problems and constantly improve the effectiveness of poverty alleviation. We should take the problems pointed out by the Ministry of education's special inspection tour of poverty alleviation as the overall starting point, adhere to the principle of seeking truth from facts, adapt measures to local conditions, do a good job in "five efforts" and strive for "five results". We should work hard in exploring the "four no picking" North post program, and put the spirit of energy, responsibility and crisis into the concrete During the work, we should ensure that the designated assistance work can stand the test of history and the people, live up to the ardent instructions of the Party Central Committee and the Party group of the Ministry of education, and live up to the ardent expectations of the cadres and the masses of Changshun county.
Third, focus on the precise docking of key points, and help the Rural Revitalization of Changshun. In order to meet the needs of Changshun County, we need to focus on "two no worries, Three Guarantees" and systematically build a poverty alleviation mechanism with the overall leadership of the school local Party committee, the full investment of the cadres in the post, and the overall promotion of the school local units. We need to continue to promote the effective connection between the comprehensive poverty alleviation and the rural revitalization, coordinate the school funds and social forces, consolidate and improve the key achievements of poverty alleviation, and explore for the Rural Revitalization of Changshun county Roads, build strength.
Fourth, we should mobilize and pool our efforts to form a long-term mechanism for school and land. On the one hand, we should widely mobilize teachers and students to invest in poverty alleviation, and create a good atmosphere in which everyone cares about poverty alleviation, supports poverty alleviation and participates in poverty alleviation. On the other hand, we should make full use of the advanced deeds and typical experience of Changshun County in the vivid practice of poverty alleviation, do a good job in the ideological and political work of schools, realize the great strategy of serving the country in poverty alleviation, and realize a more in-depth and long-term benign interaction mechanism with Changshun.
Wu Jianwei said that Changshun county has sounded the clarion call of 90 days' Sprint and three months' decisive battle.
