Recently, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympics issued a notice to build the second batch of training bases for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics. The second batch of training bases for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics include 14 units including Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications, Beijing Language and Culture University, among which Hebei sports college and Chongli plateau (national comprehensive) training base (changchengling ski resort) were selected. So far, there are 3 training bases for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Hebei Province.
In November 2018, the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee awarded the first batch of training bases for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the winter Paralympic Games with 11 units, including Zhangjiakou College of Hebei Province. In the next step, the school will strengthen the training of application-oriented talents such as ice and snow venue coaches, patrols, rescue, snow making, snow pressing, cable car operation, etc. in combination with the requirements and standards of talents for all posts in the Winter Olympics. Chongli plateau (national comprehensive) training base (Great Wall mountain ski resort) has 8 high, middle and low snow tracks, as well as hotels, restaurants, track and field venues, comprehensive training centers and other infrastructure. In the next step, we will continue to improve the hardware facilities and improve the service support capacity, so as to better meet the needs of all kinds of training for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, as well as the training and preparation of the National Ice and snow sports team and Hebei ice and snow sports team.
