1、 School profile
Beijing University of Posts and telecommunications is a national key university directly under the Ministry of education, jointly built by the Ministry of industry and information technology, and the first batch of universities to carry out the "211 Project" construction. It is a key construction University of the "985 advantage discipline innovation platform" project. It is a multi-disciplinary and research-oriented university characterized by information technology, with engineering as the main body and coordinated development of engineering, management, culture and science. It is an important training of information technology talents in China Base.
At present, the school has 8 disciplines, including science, engineering, literature, law, economics, management, education and art. Three first-class disciplines, namely, information and communication engineering, computer science and technology, and Electronic Science and technology, have been rated as A-class disciplines in the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of education, among which information and communication engineering has achieved a + excellent results. In 2017, the two discipline groups of "information network science and technology" and "computer science and network security" entered the ranks of first-class discipline construction.
The school has 2 national key laboratories of network and exchange technology, Information Photonics and optical communication, 5 national engineering laboratories of disaster recovery technology, mobile internet security technology, information content security technology, industrial control system security technology, e-government cloud computing application technology, 2 key laboratories of the Ministry of education, 2 engineering research centers of the Ministry of education, 1 Beijing Laboratory There are 9 research bases at ministerial level.
