Chemical method refers to the method of using various surface modifiers or chemical reactions to modify the surface of powder fillers, collectively referred to as chemical method. This is also the most common treatment method for cosmetic powders and pigments. Generally, the function of surface treatment agent is to adsorb on the surface of polar powder particles. The polar end of the molecule of the surface treatment agent points to the powder particles, while the non-polar "tail" end points to the oily medium. It acts as an interface connection similar to a bridge, coupling two substances with different polarities and poor compatibility, which can enhance the synergistic effect between the polymer matrix and the filler, and improve the performance of the product.
